Part of the periodic video series…. here’s a project that brought me joy.

252 goats arrived at our Yahoo! data center in Quincy, Washington, to visit for three days as an alternative to either lawnmower or Roundup for our nearby field.

After a couple of hours of dining on our tasty and nutritious weeds, one very pregnant mama gave birth to twins.

We also supplied them with their very own security badges:

Nothing worse than a non-secure goat, likely trying to infiltrate with some sort of goat-virus.

The goats return to Quincy in July.

A small city south of Atlanta, Georgia purchased a few goats to handle a kudzu problem. I loved to share this initiative with other local governments in the region because its thinking outside the box. Unfortunately, the program only lasted for about 1 year before budget cuts were made.
